Vanity House is an independently owned Aveda hair salon at 1325 Riverbend Road, Unit 180, in London’s West Five area. Owner Aran Beattie founded the salon in 2011. Its menu covers cuts for women, men and children, with appointments for colour maintenance, blonding and occasion styling.
Choosing a cut or colour appointment
A cut includes a consultation, wash, blow-dry and styling. The service menu separates junior and senior appointments: junior haircuts start at $55 and senior haircuts at $70; men’s cuts start at $45 and $50 respectively. Children’s cuts start at $35 with a junior stylist or $45 with a senior stylist. Those are starting prices, so choose the stylist as well as the service when comparing costs.
Colour options include a regrowth retouch, full colour, highlights, balayage and toner. Junior balayage starts at $235; the senior menu starts at $285. If you’re changing an existing colour, ask whether you need a correction appointment rather than a standard colour booking. Share your current colour and a reference photo so the salon can advise on the time and quote.
Styling and treatments
Wash-and-style appointments, roller-set blowouts and bridal upstyles have their own bookings. The menu also lists scalp treatments, masks and Aveda Botanical Repair as add-ons. Ask what is included in your chosen colour appointment, particularly finishing, a haircut or treatment, before adding extras.
